As a Realtor when I saw the old Soup Stone Building go under contract and eventually close I couldn't help but wonder, whose coming in? To my delight and I'm sure to all Rockland foodies as well, I found out that the men behind the ultra-successful Union Restaurant & Bar Latino at 22-24 New Main Street in the Village of Haverstraw are on a top secret mission to outdo themselves, again. Chef David Martinez and the Premier Restauranteur and Maitre d'hotel in Rockland, Paulo Feteira have kept this new venture on the hush, offering little insight to what their new place might offer, so we can only guess. I do know that the 2nd floor of the buildng will be in play as that is being converted into commercial space, maybe even open looking down, who knows. So, what do you think it should or will be?
